Times says “Mel Dangcil is a superb accompanist, musical director.” Both Peisha & Mel are headliners at Helen’s Hideaway night club in New York City, as well as the legendary Cinegrill and the Gardenia supper club in Los Angeles. For several years, their students have been selected to attend the prestigious Cabaret Symposium at Yale University, CT. In addition, Mel has worked personally with many celebrities including Leonard Bernstein. Peisha has starred in many musicals both nationally and internationally.

DO YOU LOVE TO SING? Are you dreaming of being a pop star? Or have you not sung in years and are missing your passion for what your heart & soul longs for? THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU!! Topics will include: vocal technique, breathing/performance skills and developing audience rapport. Please bring sheet music for songs if you have it… Classes are held in a small auditorium with a professional sound system and lighting. McPhee and Dangcil’s teaching style has received international acclaim and recognition, most recently from the Best of L.A. premier magazine. Peisha will be featured on NBC’s “Doctor Keith Ablow” and is the vocal coach for American Idol’s Katharine McPhee. A CABARET PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP (Advanced)
Come study with renowned cabaret artist and teachers Peisha McPhee and Mel Dangcil. This workshop is for singers and actors who want to work on developing a greater rapport with their audience, vocal techniques, styling, patter, acting and communication skills. Students are encouraged to bring American Pop Standards or musical theatre repertoire. Please be prepared to sing on the first day of class.
